1. Who we are

2. What you are buying

A pre-ordered steak meal (Aberdeen Angus sirloin with your chosen sauce and fries, plus any extras) prepared for collection from our shop on the Sunday and at the collection slot you choose when ordering. All prices shown on the ordering page are in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable.

3. Ordering and the cut-off

Ordering opens at 5:00pm each Sunday for the following Sunday, and closes at 11:00am on the day of collection.
Collection slots run 12:00pm to 4:00pm and each slot has limited capacity. A slot is only secured once your deposit payment is confirmed.
Your order is confirmed when we send you a confirmation with an order number. That confirmation is when the contract between us is made.

4. Payment and deposit

You pay a 50% deposit online when placing your order. Payments are processed securely by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.
The remaining balance is paid in store when you collect.
Orders placed with a valid friends and family code pay nothing online and the full amount in store.

5. Deposits are non-refundable

Please read before ordering. Your steak is bought and prepared specifically for your order and your collection date. Because we supply fresh food prepared for a specific day, the usual 14 day cancellation right for online purchases does not apply (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, regulation 28).

This means deposits are non-refundable if you cancel or do not collect. If your plans change, contact us as soon as you can and we will do our best to help, for example by moving your order to another Sunday at our discretion.

If we cancel your order for any reason, or cannot provide what you ordered, we will refund your deposit in full. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 for food to be as described and of satisfactory quality.

6. Collection

Please arrive during your chosen slot. Your food is cooked for your slot time.
If you are running late, call us on 01642 957386 and we will do what we can.
If you do not collect and we cannot reach you, the order is treated as cancelled and the deposit is retained.

7. Allergens and food safety

Allergen information for all menu items is on our allergens page and is available before you order. If you have a food allergy or intolerance, tell us in the order notes AND tell a member of staff when you collect. Our kitchen handles multiple allergens and we cannot guarantee any dish is completely free of any allergen.

8. Problems and complaints

If something is not right, tell us straight away in store, or contact us on 01642 957386 or [EMAIL] and we will put it right. If you are not happy with how we handle a complaint, you can seek advice from Citizens Advice.

9. General

We may update these terms from time to time; the version on this page when you order is the one that applies to your order. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
